Minister Nexhati Jakupi Meets High-Level UNDP Delegation |

Dr. Nexhati Jakupi, Minister of Environmet and Physical Planning, on February 2nd, 2009 had a meeting with high-level UNDP Delegation preceded by Ms. Maria Luisa Silva Mejias, UNDP Resident Representative. The delegation included Ms. Cihan Sultanoglu, Deputy Regional Director for Europe and the CIS and Mr. Moises Venacio, Western Balkans Team Leader. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Anita Kodzoman, UNDP Energy and Environment Cluster Programme Officer.
In this official meeting, discussions were made about the successfully implemented projects in partnership between the MoEPP and UNDP CO Macedonia, and the possibilities for future cooperation both on bilateral level and through cooperation with other donors. There was also interest shown by Ms. Sultaoglu about the environmental projects, such as continuation of Integrated Management of the Prespa Lake Basins -transboundary project, and settlement of the issues about the already identiified Hot Spots
