Western Balkans Environment Programe

UNDP Western Balkans Environment Regional Programme Management Unit, Ms. Sanja Bojanic, Ms.Snezana Dragojevic and Mr.Stewart Williams had a working visit to Hot Spots Project Macedonia.

The purpose of the visit was to have a closer insight on Hot Spots project implementation progress regarding the activity implementation dynamics, technical issues, co-financing, needs assessment, public awareness raising and capacity development activities.

The Programme Management Unit (PMU) held meetings with Ms.Anita Kodzoman, UNDP Programme Officer, Environment and Energy Cluster, Hot Spots Project staff as well as with responsible authorities in the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MOEPP) as National Stakeholders.

On August 28th 2008 visit to  Hot Spots Project site Bucim Mine, Radovis was organized which coincided with the "Miners Day" of Macedonia and official reception was organized on this occasion.
